Reath was pretty poor on defense tonight. UK had a run of 3 open dunks and a layup all with him watching. Then fouled a guy on a layup and allowed him to make the shot. That's where the game was lost for me.

3 years in the making for a UK basketball troll. How did you sit out all the Louisville threads?

Reath and Epps played their asses off.

Waters was good as per usual, but had some freshman mistakes.

I have no idea where Mays was tonight. He looked like he was dazed...in another world. He must have missed 5 layups and just seemed like he had the flu or something.

That said it was a fun game. We make layups and box out on free throws...we beat Kentucky.

Bring on aTm!

Great effort tonight by the Tigers.

Interior defense was a letdown, but that's something we will have to recruit for...meaning size.

Mistakes and flat out missed shots were the decider, but a consistent effort like tonight, and you can expect to finish somewhere other than last place.

We’re building to hopefully be on their level.
The football program shouldn’t be hoping to hang within single digits of Bama.
Don’t be stupid and pretend it’s the same

I'll agree with all of this, but you lose your shite after every football loss.

We needed change from CLM. We got Bebe . Hamstringing him with negative sentiment around the program is not helpful.

I too wish we would have gotten someone else, but it is what it is. We will have to live with him for a while. Let's see if he can prove himself or if we must move on. That's all I hope for.

It was pretty appropriate to lose your shite after 3 of the 4 losses this year.

We played our asses off tonight. We had a stretch with no rebounds that got us, but this game has me excited for the future

I feel the more they play, and learn how to anticipate each other on defense

The better they will get
Fun to watch, it'd be more fun to see them win....

They have the tools on offense, they just need to learn how to change that energy to defense

I'm VERY VERY VERY Excited for LSU Basketball for years to come and if i'm LSU, I would (at the end of the season) see what it takes to SIGN THIS GUY to a long term deal....

He could be the next DALE BROWN, he could be the face of LSU basketball.... DO NOT WAIT to lock him in...

He may have had the flu, seems most everyone does these days....Calislimey was more than willing to let everyone know some of his players did.

But yeah, Mays seemed a bit off. I thought one of the bigger plays in the game was with under 10 minutes left we were up 2, got a steal and Mays missed a layup on the end, they come back the other way and get an and 1 to go up 1.

And yeah, the not blocking out on free throws was huge.

Needed to have some guys stepping in to take charges when Cats started driving to the goal in the second half. Can't just let them drive so easily like that, need better rotation.

Also, about 3 times we doubled a post guy and no weak side rotation and there's a kid wiiiiiide open under the basket for them. Just 3 easy baskets. Weakside rotation on D is basketball 101. Can't have that happen 3 times in a matter of about 5 minutes which is what happened.

Until this team gets better at rotation, they need to have a strict "never double team the ball" mentality. Too many wide open looks given up when the ball is passed out of the double team.
