I love DJ Chark and hope he pulls a D. Bowe and goes to an optometrist or ophthalmologist

before the NFL combine if invited or the LSU pro-day.
The guy has to be damn near blind. The announcers were talking about his 2 punt returns for TD's on the season during the ND game and I was like "hell yeah DJ take one to the house baby".
Later in the game, I think it was ND's last punt, I was glad the ball bounced backwards, away from him and went out of bounds.
He fielded the 2nd ND punt at the 3 yard line. High school punt returners don't field the ball at the three yard line. WTF !!!
He then muffed 2 punts. One he watched coming in and put his arms out to catch it like he was going to cradle it and the only thing the ball even touched was his leg or knee.
The guy has speed and can hopefully be a very good WR in the NFL, but I have seen too many weird unexplainable plays on his part. I think it HAS to be a problem with his eyesight.
He's the long ball receiver and he will get open, QB throws a bomb, Chark puts his arms out like he's going to catch it, I'm on the edge of my seat with anticipation ready to jump up and celebrate and the ball lands two yards behind him or a couple yards in front of him. Like "damn dude were you trying to fake out the defender hoping for an interference call, because it faked me out"?
He needs to see an eye doctor. I think LSU would pay for it.

Good thing your lord and savior O hired a special teams coach. Oh wait
Way to trash the players, jerk. Take a hike.

Bet you wouldn’t say it to his face
Fielding punts isn’t that easy. Especially when he has no special teams coach to guide him.

He needs to talk to LSU recruiters and explain to them how IMPORTANT it is to have a GOOD Quarter Back.
Can be a good receiver with DANNY OVERTHROW SHITLING as the starting quarter back

It was also wet conditions. I can understand dropping one like he did, but not both.

He's been above average, but he's made a lot of poor decisions with not being aware of where he is on the field relative to the endzone (like the 3 yard line on Jan 1) and fielding a punt.

Underthrow you mean? I love the kids passion but how he thought it was a good idea to throw the ball 9 yards on 4th and 15 was mind boggling

I can field a punt. With a coach or without. You need a coach to catch a ball?

Not trashing anyone. Did you watch the bowl game.
I happen to remember Dewayne Bowe before his spectacular senior season. I still tell people of the interview where he told the lady correspondent the first thing he did was break up with his girlfriend. He said he never realized she was so ugly. Hopefully, it wasn't really true but it damn sure was funny.

Fielding punts, making good decision, knowing where you are on the field is much more important than an occasional long return. Fielding punts is also very difficult and good hands are essential.

Punt returning is more about decision making and situational awareness than it is catching a ball numbnuts
Posted on 1/3/18 at 1:28 pm to TigerAlum93
He is not a punt returner. He will never be asked to return punts in the pros. He was a really good receiver and deep threat.

Yes you are 100% correct. that is why there is only 3 good punt returners in all of football. The NFL, college, JUCO, high school and Junior high school.
The other thousands or so catch punts on the 3 yard line and botch multiple punts in every game.

Won't be paying him to return punts in the League my man! 22 yards per catch and almost 900 yards with Etling as his QB.

Really, It was pretty much hit or miss. I got to where I was glad LSU stopped the other team but disappointed they stopped the other team.
It was almost worse than a field goal attempt.

So bashing players instead of the guy calling the shots?
I hope you leave with o when he gets shite canned.

And it has nothing to do with bad eyesight.
