That was a penalty in every game against every player.

Well that's laughable.

If that's a penalty, we should have 12 penalties a match

Morata is terrible.

This was an entertaining game but god damn the pattern of play is poor.

Do you ever question how wrong you could be when no arenal players, announcers, or commentary after the game protest?

Costa scoring in his first game back for athletico and then watching that shite show from Morata caused my soul to leave my body.

After the game? How about right after the penalty was given?

I get it, you're a Chelsea fan and don't want to admit Hazard collapsed far too easily. Looking for it.

You think? He grabbed his shin and acted like he was shot. We was barely touched on the bottom of his foot.

Great and exciting match for the neutral. Arsenal are good for something.

Didn’t realize penalties on how easily a player collapses. I thought it depended on a foul being there, which there was a foul.

Lol he got to the ball first and got kicked. If your argument is that he went down to easily then okay. Was a silly challenge that the defender got wrong. Wilshere didn’t even get a card for a blatant flop.

That's what I've been saying. If that's the standard, then we should see multiple penalties a match, but we don't.

Moses's knee clipped AMN from behind, causing him to fall and lose possession in the box, but that wasn't called. Similar amount of contact.

Hazard's was a fortunate penalty, not sure why that's hard for you to say?

I’m telling you, as not only a fan of Chelsea but of football in general, that’s a penalty more times than it’s not. If hazard would have stayed on his feet then he would have kept going, if he goes down after being kicked then it’s a penalty. He went down easy, no one is debating that. As a defender I know if I’m trying to clear the ball with a big kick I HAVE to get that ball at the same time or before the player, otherwise it’s a damn penalty. Embellished? Yes. Penalty? Yes.

Not a word about Wilshere not getting a second yellow for the blatant dive? Then he scores? I mean it goes both ways, Chelsea is NOT the team to try and say gets the benefit of the refs a lot.

My problem with the penalty is that it's a 50/50 ball that both of them go for in the exact same way. If that play occurs in the middle of the park, it probably goes uncalled, and it goes uncalled in the box fairly often. The rules shouldn't be different inside the box versus outside the box, and I want consistency. It's frustrating. Probably should be a penalty, but call it that way all the time OR call it none of the time.

See I disagree with you here. I can’t explain this enough but if you kick a players foot because YOU got beat to the ball, and he goes down, it’s a foul. This was in the box, and hazard embellished anchor the penalty. How is this even an argument lol

Well now hold on! There was contact between Wilshere and the defender's (Christensen?) leg. It certainly looked like Wilshere dragged his leg into the defender and then fell down, but there was contact.

I think both he and Hazard went down too easy, and I wouldn't have been too upset if a second yellow was given.

I'm just still pissed about the Chamber's handball penalty against WBA, so that's blurring my logic here and it's making me feel angrier about it than typical

You can explain it all you want because that's not at all how the laws of the game say it, and you're being willfully ignorant if you are saying that referees don't allow contact in the middle of the field when a 50/50 is in play. The tackle was not "careless, reckless, or using excessive force." You can make the thinnest of arguments for "careless" since Bellerin was beat to the ball by Hazard, but the amount of contact was minimal and had all the force of a tickle.
