Choup,

I hunt in Pointe a la hache and it ain't nothing compared to the surrounding marshes like say delacroix, reggio, scarsdale etc. As far as mud motors go for pressure. I'd say our pressure is obviously less than those around us and our birds have flat out left too, and the greys never really showed. My bag is less than 15 percent greys, should be around 50 or more! Fortunately the poachers are getting slimmer like the birds...

Our marsh looks like crap right now, lilies flattend marsh, they choked out some areas, extended periods of low water and the feed has been wiped out. I think early my leases were producing because of the smart weed and water hemp. Thats gone and the milfoil and coontail is down so they're leaving or flat skipping over.

Maybe there aren't as many ducks compared to 20 years ago, but I'm still having fun with it. I know I appreciate them more now

Decreasing duck #'s aren't nearly as bad as the increasing # of jackass duck hunters who think they're the next Phil Robertson.
