I'm sure as hell am not taking any pride in Alabama's accomplishments.
The chant is usually used when a team goes and wins it all. So they're saying they're from the best conference and they trophy is staying in the best conference.
It's not like you have to watch Alabama win a NC and then do the chant on your couch

I will murder the next "lsu fan" that says they are rooting for Bama because of the SEC
ETA: Maybe if we starting murdering fans we will be more successful like bama
