Lock it up, UGA comes through in Pasadena and Bama will ROLL in NOLA.

Neither will the rest of the nation...see the 2012 BCS game between LSU-Bama which had the 3rd lowest TV rating in the history of the BCS.

You know some network execs assholes puckered worried about this very thing when UGA came out on top though.
Going to be fricked if ESPN starts pushing for not allowing multiple teams from same conference in the playoff because of this.
Because it will now be disregarding the on field results, and simply caring about TV ratings. That is getting to be a hell of a slippery slope

Next season. People are sick of the SEC.

They didn't care about results on the field this season or Bama wouldn't be playing tonight. They didn't earn their way into this position.

Call it the benefit of the doubt given Bama’s stature combined with OSU getting it last year and fricking it up.
You can argue they shouldn’t do it that way.....but hey, it was the masses who cried no computer elements in the determination.
But you missed my point.
Your statement only really applies if Bama loses.
If they beat the #1 seed then they did deserve to be there, and sorry OSU, don’t get BLOWN OUT by bad teams if you want in.

Actually, this is looking more and more likely as the game goes on. Clemson is barely hanging in there. A good team but not as good as Bama.

And Bama will win substantiating their place as the best football team in all of the land.
