EVERYONE here is rooting for O to be successful, but

this is The Rant. When O screws the pooch like he did with Troy, folks will rant/melt/bitch. That does not mean they don't want him to overcome and achieve greatness. When the Troy loss occurred, realistically I felt we'd finish either 5 & 7 or 4 & 8. But we went on to finish 9 & 3 with a 6 & 2 conference mark. I've been very happy about that. I'm very much looking forward to finishing 10 & 3. But I did see a bad moon arising back in late November when Mike Detillier said Canada would not be back due to personal and philosophical differences with Coach O. This is very bad as we all know. O pledged not to meddle with his coordinators. Granted, if Canada does go and O brings in a stud O.C., the bad moon will be gone for me. But as for now, the ranting/melting/bitching must continue.

If O is going to be the head coach then he should have the right fit for him at OC and that is obviously not Canada.

I'm rooting for LSU to be successful, just like I always have. The fact that it coincides with whoever the head coach is doesn't make a bit of difference to me.

Fine, but that guy that is the right fit better be bigtime.
Posted on 12/31/17 at 2:12 pm to jgriffith
Lies. 80% of the people on this site want him to fail so they can be right.

Well there are a lot of cocky bastards here, I give you that, but deep down they all love LSU.

My question is what does O even want to do on offense?

that was in September, bitch. melt yes, but for 3 fricking months? that is NOT normal behavior for well adjusted mature people.

it is NOT a given that it is very bad. you do not know the facts. use your common sense man (if you have any); the admin. isn't going to let a subordinate (coach O) fire an employee with a large buy out on a whim. there HAS to be a reason.

he NEVER said that. never. he explained his failure at ole miss as "trying to do all of the coaches jobs". it was the Rant that twisted that and added the fricking word "MEDDLE". a HC is the boss of the football team and his opinion matters. if the employee chooses to countermand and "order", he does so at his own risk.
lastly, you KNOW NOTHING about O meddling with the offense. NOTHING. it is dribble that you've read on here and accept as the gospel. bull shite. I wonder why O didn't "meddle" with the defense? huh? it sucked early on also.
if you are truly rooting for O to be successful, THEN ROOT FOR HIM DAMNIT. i'm calling you a lier, sir. you are a lier! you are not rooting for him; you are making shite up and trying to turn others against him.

O should not be the head coach if he hires the only interviewee he brought in makes him the highest paid OC in the nation and then four games in has a falling out and forced him to completely change his system

I want O to be incredibly successful! Even so, I think odds are much more likely that he fails bigtime in the end.
As a Tiger fan, please let me be wrong!!!!!

That's my question as well. Clemson has a great blueprint, as does Oklahoma; but the way Detiller explained it, it sounds like O wants the same pro style formations that Miles had but obviously with better qb development, hence more throwing, and better playcalling.

Blatantly obvious you've got some major issues up in that little membrane of yours and need to seek help. You need some pills and some anger management. You need to stay the hell away from the rant. Rants will be ongoing here indefinitely.

How do you know Coach O wants a "yes man"? Quite believably, he has said, numerous times, that LSU is his dream job. Do you not believe that? If so, why then would he risk messing up said dream job just for ego sake?

We know the defense is mostly Aranda because it's almost identical to what Wisconsin ran under him, but who's offense was it? I looked to have elements of what Canada runs and elements of what Cameron, and later Ensminger, tried to run.
If Canada didn't fit what Orgeron wanted then he needed to go. The question then becomes why was he even hired and then given such a ridiculous contract? Canada's system has been the same for years now so if that's not what Orgeron wanted he should have been able to figure that out before he hired him. There is a lack of strong leadership within the program and it goes all the way up to Alleva.
