I'd go vegetarian but not vegan. I love eggs.

Same here. Vegetarian diet shows good results for lowering cholesterol and blood pressure. I think it provides a lot of energy too.

So vegetarian and IF? I'll possibly become the most annoying person on the planet.
"Hey, Sabi."
"Hey, guys. Just got done with my vegetarian omad and I'm feeling great. Is that a burger? Bro, that stuff is killing you. Let me get these pamphlets out my Prelude and I'll show you a healthier lifestyle."

I’ve recently determined meat only dieters can be just as annoying.

I’ll be in my blue Subaru Forester with a 30-A sticker on my back window.

My wife is vegetarian and fasts.
Thankfully she's not annoying about either of those things... she's annoying about lots of other stuff, but not her eating (her hatred of grains gets old, though).

You get on a routine with it after a while. I do 16:8, eat from 1-9 because I workout late usually from 5:30-7ish, have to go walk the dog, etc.
On weekends I often do break my fasting if I go out. Then I’ll get back on track Sunday.

In January I started a no carb diet and have transitioned to 16:8 in February. Much more energy going on and the only hours that are hard are around 11am or 11pm. Down 17lbs so far in 6 weeks

I feasted between Christmas and New Years. I started 2018 with a three day fast, then did omad until this last Saturday. The one meal was massive. I would have no grains, some protein slathered with cheese or butter (like five or six eggs, two hamburgers, steak, or chicken), and finish it off with about fiveish ounces of mixed salad topped with cheese, grape tomatoes, a 1/4 onion, and about every other day a clove or two of raw garlic with oil and vinegar as the dressing with one or two glasses of milk. During the day I'd drink water and green/white tea. I lost one pound everyday following that. Saturday I'd have a large pizza and gain like four pounds. I net lost for the week three pounds
To put this weight in perspective I didn't do any lifting during that period. I got busy around the holidays and basically quit lifting Thanksgiving where I left off (conventional) deadlifting 405x3 and benching 245x3. I'd hurt my knee a touch doing front squats a ways back and said I wasn't going to mess with squats until I got three sets of twelve on max of the leg press machine (400 lbs) with being able to do one set at 400x12. 6 ft 195-200 weight when I quit lifting and kicked off the New Year at like 218. Ended at 201 on the ninth.

Of all the pathways I've gone down in regards to dieting and exercising, the one thing that has led to the most significant change in body composition and fitness is IF, but more specifically OMAD.
I was pretty overweight from middle school to end of sophomore year of high school due to poor dieting, although I was very active with sports. I went from 240lbs down to 190lbs (6'1 btw) after one high school season of football along with weight training. My problem has always been that I like to eat, and that didn't end when I lost all that weight. Falling back into poor dieting has been my Achilles' heal since as long as I can remember.
Then, last year, I started looking into IF, as well as keto. When used together, I noticed great results for weight loss/maintenance, better performance in the gym/sports, as well as more energy throughout the day. After about 6 months I returned to a less restrictive diet and 6 months later I went from 190 to 210. That 20 lbs crept up on me, and all those insecurities from being an overweight kid started to arise in the back of my mind. I decided that another round of IF and keto was the solution, but this time I'd try OMAD.
Fast forward to today after about 8 weeks of the combination, and I'm down to 186lbs. Now, my weight fluctuates day to day, but for the majority of the time I'm around 190lbs. This time around while utilizing OMAD, IF and a lighter version of keto, it finally feels as though I've found a real solution to my weight problem. If anyone is serious about losing weight, but are unsure of what works, I can't recommend the combination of IF (OMAD) and low carb diet enough.

Not according to Dr. Rhonda Patrick. She was saying the studies show that anything other than water that makes the liver produce enzymes lessens the effects of the fast. Which lessens the fat loss/muscle gain side of it. I'm doing the 16:8 as well but only water during If. According to her, I even have to wait to do my vitamins and EC stack when I break fast.
I mean, I know it works if you drink coffee, because shite I've done it. Just wanted to share that info because it surprised me too.

Caffeine produces insulin. That is why it can lessen a fast, since the purpose of a fast is to not have insulin going so you can get growth hormone and possibly autophagy.
One cup of black coffee is the max you can have and possibly not mess things up is what I've read. That's why I went with green or white tea if I had to have something

Congrats Notorious
Dr. Eric Berg DC suggests a modified ketosis with IF diet and has tons of great videos that go along with it. He's helped me a lot into optimizing my diet to perfection.

I've gone back to 16:8, but I'm going to try two 24-hr fasts per week on Tues and Fridays to see if that has any effect. Also, going to cutback on coffee to one cup/day.

I'm on day 3 of the 16:8 IF program. I used the Lean Gains macro calculator to get my numbers, and I just can't wrap my head around consuming that many carbs on days that I work out (I'm 5'7, 200 FFS). So I'm hitting my proteins and fats, but staying way, way lower on the carb front.
I work out at lunch every day, so my eating window is 1:30-8:30. I've been taking 10G of BCAA's in the 20 minutes prior to my workout and I am drinking 2 cups of coffee sweetened with splenda in the morning.
So far, so good. The morning and evening aspect of the fast are easy for me. My problem is waking up with my 6 month old at 2:30 AM, where I typically would grab a handful of cookies or some other shitty snack that my 3 year old eats.
I'll keep everyone posted.

I started with intermittent fasting this week again. I lift in the a.m. and eat 12pm - 8pm. So far, I’m doing okay and have been able to satiate late night cravings with hot tea. I hope I can stick with it and get results.
ETA: I take 2 doses of BCAA between my lift and lunch.
