We need a former head coach who has no ambition moving on to become a head coach. Someone who wants to stay for years to come. That person needs to be a solid recruiter and also a QB developer. That somebody could possibly be in the NFL right now. We need to find this type of coach and lock him up. Any younger coach would only use the LSU gig as a stepping stone for a HC job. Now let's go find this OC.

Yea, Lincoln Riley and Kirby Smart are working out really bad for Oklahoma and Georgia.

Eta - see my response below. I'm leaving that up there on GP though.

Btw, thanks cleetus.

Is that you Orgeron?

Don't want anyone that might outshine you. Smart.

How does this relate to the post? I'm sure they are not interested in being coordinators.

Yes, Steve Sarkisian would be a nice choice.

It appears all signs point to him being next OC.

How about a guy like Norv Turner? Much rather a guy like him over some young OC with half the experience.

Oh shite, I didn't even read the whole thread and misread the title.

You got me there cleetus. I'll admit, I misread and thought he meant for HC. That's what I get for going through all these threads and not reading most of the stupid post.

Why is it easier to get a guy past LSU admins that coached a game drunk vs. a dude that just liked banging some hookers in his off time ?
