Do only top programs do this. Also find it funny we got a Buford LS connection going.

I like that LSU has done it. We have had no drama or snapping issues in a decade. It's a very important spot.

They are worth it. I can't remember the last bad snap on a punt or field goal LSU has had

Our HS team lost in the quarterfinals because the LS snapped the ball OVER our kicker’s head. Chip shot FG for a great kicker.

You only know the LS’ name when he screws up (unless you’re family, I guess).

I think even St Nick offered specialists like this while at LSU.

Long snappers and good kickers/punters are worth it.

Its not just about flawless snapping but being big and athletic to get down the field and not be a liability in a return.

Ferguson bros are pretty athletic and big for long snappers.

I love our history of signing LS every 3 or 4 years. It works great. We have had very few bad snaps in the last decade.

I gotta say I’ve been impressed with the latest Ferguson brother. I’ve noticed how often he is down the field in punt coverage trying to help kill the ball within the 10-yd line. Very nice athleticism.

Very highly specialized position, if you can get your hands on a really good one, then do it...
