Salviati-You must have been watching a different game than I in the 2011 SEC Championship game because JJ was atrocious. Now I give him credit for the GOTC in Bama. He did what he was called upon to do. But the SECCG was the worst quarterback performance I've ever seen. TM7 with his punt returns and the running game dominated the 2nd half of that game.

You're only looking at one half of the equation.

Jefferson executed options and zone reads to near perfection, and he threw a TD pass to Hilliard as LSU's offense scored FOUR TDs against a Top Five defense in their own backyard.

LSU rushed for over 200 yards, and Jefferson being the QB was an integral part of that.

That's how LSU dominated teams all year long that year. Defense and special teams were a huge part. Lee had a high efficiency rating through the first 9 games but he wasn't asked to do very much. Then Bama happened and Lee looked terrified on literally every snap. He wasn't the answer in January. It's borderline insane that someone is still throwing a fit about this shite.
