1988 vs La Tech, lost in OT, great game!
1990 vs Loyola Marymount, #1 PMac was rocking!
1986 vs Kentucky, lost by 2, everyone stood the entire game.

As an objective football fan, the '07 Arkansas game was phenomenal. McFadden could not be stopped by a good LSU defense. He absolutely crushed the national championship hopes of the home crowd. Never seen a quieter, more dispirited home team crowd file out of a stadium.

Ark converting on 4th & 23.
3OT's including Chad Jones murdering somebody in the end zone.

That game was awesome.

2011 LSU vs Alabama Tuscaloosa. Best game I have ever attended. On most plays when either team broke the huddle and came up to the line the crowd went to their feet.

Second place ties:

2007 LSU vs Florida All those 4th downs. Epic.

1969 LSU vs Auburn Incredible football, a Heisman QB, and a blocked extra point at the end by Bevan. Only blocked extra point I've ever seen.

Don't recall the year, but the Earthquake Game, LSU vs Auburn--and it wasn't the touchdown and earthquake but the 4th down play Willie Williams made to allow the TD throw a few plays later. There was a delerium after that play when it occured to all of us at the same time that victory was possible.

After this game, even the crowd left the PMAC exhausted. It was a experience to remember.

Best game I ever attended wasn't even in the PMAC. I was a freshman at LSU and was from eastern Kentucky. A couple friends of mine from Tiger Band talked me into driving them up to Lexington, Kentucky for the UK game in January of 1987. I did NOT want to go because I didn't want to be around all those hill-billies I had been raised with just to see LSU get pummeled in Rupp Arena.

To make a long story short, I loved every minute of that game as the final score was LSU-76 Kentucky-41. The Tigers were on FIRE that day, as was Coach Brown. To this day, that 35-point scar is still visible on the face of Rupp Arena!

It was worth every bit of the 10-hour long drive and having to skip meals to pay for the tickets and fuel.

Two most memorable are

LSU-USC in 1979. Many others have written about this. Incredibly loud throughout entire game.

LSU-Auburn in 1980. Have not seen too many mention this game, but it was very exciting. And loud! Back and forth. Sealed with a Quinn interception. Great memory.
