I was. Constantly. Still hurts in a way, but I'm now and at a good place in my life. I'm extremely successful in my work, and I have a beautiful wife and amazing kids.

It's just heartbreaking to see kids go through this. I pray my children never experience such hate based on things they cannot control.

Sorry for the downer thoughts. The video of that crying kid really got to me this morning.

Everyone gets teased. Everyone teases someone else. "Bullying" can be a relative term.

I had one bully. My mom told me to tell the teachers. They did nothing. My grandma told me to punch the kid as hard as I could in the face next time I saw him. I did that. The kid never bullied me again.

You're just a giant POS who exaggerates his HS sports career.

Boom. Bullied.

Nowadays, the teachers still do nothing, but you get suspended for a week for punching the kid in the face.

Zero tolerance rules have only made bullying worse.

I was, curiously, by this long winded midget looking dude in a wheelchair. He used to barrage me with all these made up stories that seemingly had no rhyme or reason and never ended, threaten me with physical harm despite actually being in a wheelchair, then send in a team of his goons to rough me up.

Had one bully. I was around 10yrs old.

Finally had enough one day, dropped my bike in the street and beat his arse Ralphie Christmas Story style. The other kids had to pull me off of him.

Somehow we ended up becoming friends not long after.

I was, was a small awkward kid, parents didn’t really offer help or guidance on social skills

Has taught me to be kind to people throughout my life.

With the exception of the business world, i am a bloody ruthless Alpha in the business world, I destroy competition without mercy. I crush individuals that challenge me for business. Not within my company but external competitors of course. I imagine a therapist would tell me my childhood really drives that.

Yeah i did. Nothing physical or stereotypical but more of the "purposefully being left out of things" or "knowing everyone was talking shite about you when right before you showed up" sorta bullying that almost hurts just as much.

Probably took too much of it to heart as boys will be boys but It did suck.

Unfortunately I let it turn be into a bully on a few occasions and I really regret that when I look back on it now.

Ill teach my children how to deal with bullies one day but Ill also teach them how to not let it turn you into one at the same time. I think thats just as important.

Yes, I had a miserable childhood because of it. Then you grow up and the person who made your life a nightmare says, I'm sorry. So you forgive them. But you can't get back your childhood. You can forgive but you will never forget those horrible days.
