Why do they say “climate change” instead of “global warming” now?

Because Global warming is bullshite and climate change is a naturally occurring phenomena that can;t be argued against.

They use climate change as a fear tactic...let me explain

Lafayette had historical floods a little over a year ago.....its been 50 years since the last one. But compared to 50 years ago, very little natural drainage exists and MANY man made issues exist that CAUSED the flooding. Half the city is paved with roads and parking lots and subdivisions and southern cities that weren't there before.
So, it's easier to flood now.

But the liberal nuts jobs will say "see, climate change is happening because Lafayette flooded"

That's it in a nutshell. However the words "man made" still provide a sticking point for them.

This falls in the LONG history of the left either redefining words or "rebranding" a lie.

This has been happening at a rapid pace since our govt was infiltrated by Progs after WW2.

You can be given literally hundreds of examples of this, most recent/famous one being "The Affordable Care Act".

.....because global warming has been debunked. The problem with global warming narrative being pushed? It's downright cold. So they pull the ole bait-and-switch. For example the fires in California? Notice how they weave this climate change argument into the narrative...the fires in California are caused by Climate Change! Anybody who is familiar with the situation in California knows it's a combination of folks building suburbs in fire prone areas (with an abundance of kindling), the vicious Santa Ana winds, and the seasonal droughts.
