ESPN was beating the Ohio State drum loud and clear, and were the only nutcases bringing up USC. They have become completely tone deaf to their audience.

My point is that ESPN has certain teams that benefit them from a rating standpoint, I.e. Bama, USC, Ohio State, Texas, Oklahoma, Miami, etc.
Consequently, I think they lobby for said teams to be in higher ranked positions when the season is over.
Just my take, which is obviously correct.
