Hoping Grimes gets his late suprise for 5, but 4 wouldn't be a bad number on OL this cycle.

The maximum number of guys we will lose this year is 4. Malone, obviously being the lone senior, and Clapp, Brumfield and Weathersby with NFL draft decisions. I don't think there's any way we lose all three, though. So signing 4 should get us at least one more scholarship lineman than we had last year. I think we're ok at that position with 4. 5 would be better, but I wouldn't want to just take a borderline guy just because he's OL over some of the elite targets we have at other positions.

I think the panic about next year's offensive line subsided considerably since the beginning of the season as we saw development from Ingram and Charles. But I do think we really need to get Traore, because we need a game ready tackle that can compete for a starting job and help with depth at that position.

Grimes has to do a better job of recruiting and retaining linemen or he needs to go.
