Alabama continues to poach and win over former commitments- this area is Coach O's calling and and how he can make his mark on the program by protecting our borders.

Can he get it done? Can he get the big names? Get a top notch QB recruit?

Savion Smith wasn’t a “recruit,” per se.

One person recommitted. , it was expected and honestly needed

And savion smith who wasn't a recruit. A former player who was dismissed.

Weird statement to make after Bama landed commitments from a JUCO kid from Florida that was essentially kicked off the team, and another Florida based DB, who the staff had cooled on in relation to other targets at his position.

Remember when LSU lost out on Hootie and got some guy named Jamaal Adams instead?

Don't worry. Be happy.

Expecting a rational and logical decision from a 17-18 year old impressionable kid with a dwindling attention span who's idea of commitment is remembering to stream the latest World Star videos is not something I wonder "why" about.

Savion - the weed's better in T-Town
Nab - too many safety's ahead of him on our depth chart

Anyone else?

The recruits get wind from the fan base that LSU has the worst, the most incompetent coach in the country so they go elsewhere.

It is what it is. Alabama has spots to fill. If you're a kid who can go to a team that is almost guaranteed to play in the National Championship bracket, would you turn it down? Look at it honestly, what can LSU or any other school other than Clemson (now) offer a recruit who can go and play next year at Alabama? That's just looking at going and playing for a Championship every year.

If you're good enough you can also probably end up with a new car, plenty of weed, all expenses paid with walking money. Add in someone going to class for you and getting you a degree, Plus you get a National Championship before you're 21. Not bad if you're looking at schools.

Our biggest advantage is we're a shortcut to the pros. Which does mean something. However it also means we don't see many good Juniors returning.
