Anyone?

Can you point me to a map that has ever had the country of Palestine?

Where do you live? I'm going to come to your house, bulldoze it down, and build my Christian utopia on your formal property. If you try to defend your property, I'll kill you.
Still don't understand why anybody has a problem with Israel?

I’m not arguing he doesn’t have the power to move it. I’m curious as to why now and what are the possible benefits versus the posssible drawbacks.

Embassies are in capitals, consulates in non-capitals.

State is already restricting travel of diplomats in the region due to expected violence. I get the heckler’s veto is not something to obey, but I just don’t see the tangible upside to the move while we do have some certainty of what the downside will be.

Because land hasn’t swapped hands throughout mankind after wars were fought?
How much land would Israel have if they would’ve kept what they won in engagements in the last 70 years

So again, no substance? Just continuing your weird stalking of me?
I get fussed at for trolling and accused of being a troll when I start a legitimate thread.
It’s almost like I can’t win with you regardless
ETA: first time I can remember RA’ing in a long, long time. Congrats

It gives Israel more leverage against the USA

All I’ve done is respond to comments. Take it up with those

Actually the Jews had a nation there first unless you want to count all the different tribes mentioned in the Bible. Those were not Arabs though. The UN (not exactly a shrill for Israel) helped re-establish Israel as a nation on land that it had before any Arabs had claim to it. So your illustration is false.

It's safe in Tel Aviv. Others are there also. If you move it to Jerusalem, it will be subject to bombings, terrorists actions, and all out war in the future. It will be a target of the Arabs and ISIS. The Bible says that area will have a Mosk built by the Anti-Christ right before Jesus returns for the final war. If you believe in the Bible, it's all in Revelations.

whike wenknow with some certainty what the downside will be.
The simple fact of the matter if that the two-state solution isn’t working. It will never work. We’ve been pushing the same policy towards Israel and the Palestinians for as long as I can remember. I don’t necessarily support moving it. I really just don’t care either way. It’s a stupid thing to get worked up over imo.
Also State can suck my balls. I really don’t put much stock into anything that department has to say.

The Middle East is already embroiled in a war and it will more than likely become a pretty major one soon and it will have exactly zero to do with where our embassy is.

By doing this, America is effectively saying that Palestine has no right to have their country. I hope all the neocohens in this thread are going to be signing up for the inevitable war.
Whoever tried to declare war over moving an embassy should be quickly wiped off the map, as they have no place in this world
