Dad has the original SBE, the SBEII American Series. I have the SBEII, and the SBEIII. Never had alick of issues with either of them. I've heard a lot of people saying they shoot high and to the right, but I've never experienced this with any of the guns. I shoot a kicks full choke and it seems to pattern pretty much any shell I drop in it.

Another vote for the SBE III. I’ve owned a SBE II for several seasons now and outside of having the “Benelli click” happen to me once, never had a problem with it. Even shot lighter dove loads right at the start and did have cycling issues like I’ve seen some people report.

Yea I’m with you. I shoot an SBE3 with Kicks high flyer chokes. Now I did shim the Gun like it is designed for. I know there was one guy saying you shouldn’t have to shim it but I had to also shim the Browning Maxus I had so…..
SBE3 is awesome! I have hunted with it for 4 season now and I love it.Eats every shell I put in it including low brass. Looking at getting and SBE3 in 20gauge also.
