This is one of Orgeron's most important jobs, to get juniors to come back.

Screw it, redshirt every incoming freshman no matter how good that way their Junior year would be like their senior year!

I've always wondered this about LSU... seemed to be a common trend during the Miles era. The running theme I've always heard repeated was this:

"Miles would play the best player... period. He did not GAS if that meant tanking a guy's reps in games during their senior season."

Whether that is true or not, I won't claim to know, will rely on you guys...

I think we have lucked out a lot in that a good portion of these seniors didn't grade out quite as high in last year's draft based on their performances last year (Lorenzo Carter, Davin Bellamy for sure... Chubb coming off of the injury made sense... Michel surprised me actually). It's been one hell of a wild ride this year, but definitely a bit of a perfect storm that led to those guys coming back. I feel like for LSU, you guys routinely have guys taken highly in the draft... We'll be in that spot with Roquan this year... I think he's gone simply because he's essentially a sure fire 1st round pick (probably early 1st at that). Kirby has said since he got here, that if a guy as a JR grades out as a 1/2 pick, it probably makes sense for them to go...

Seems like an awful lot of negative in some of the posts I've read today... I think next year should tell you a lot about O. There were some things to be excited about... and some things to learn from. Gotta see how it all shakes out. Looking forward to the road trip next season no matter what!
