I was standing in line to get a sub a few minutes ago, and the two older women, which you don’t want pictures of, were just abusing the shite out of this poor girl working the counter. She was the only one in there, it was kind of busy, and it seemed like all her coworkers were on break or something. Poor girl was running around and these two ladies were just being super bitchy.

I don’t know what it is that makes people feel like they have to say and do that kind of shite to other people. The girl is obviously a high schooler or young college student (kinda chubby so you don’t want pics either) and was doing a good job.

I hate seeing that kind of shite. For one, it’s hard to get someone in the service industry who can take your order in English, so I appreciate whenever I see some of them working hard. I made it a point to be polite, say thank you, etc.

Man, frick people that do that kind of shite. Y’all are the reason most fast food chains hire bottom-of-the-barrel who can’t get my order right.

Yea I’m mad. NB4youworkatburgerking

Why didn't you take up for the little girl then?

Sometimes the small guy needs someone to rescue them. You'd appreciate it as well if you were in her shoes.

That is almost as bad as people who gripe at a Customer Service rep for some corporate policy.

Do you think the desk clerk at Hilton set the corporate cancellation policy?

When I get pissed about something, I take a breath and say: "I know you didn't make this policy and it isn't your fault but here is why it is fricked up. What can you do for me right now to make this right?"

I did. When I went up to pay, I made it a point to say loudly enough to where they women could hear “I don’t know why some people feel they have a right to be rude” and I thanked her.

Two older ladies were white

People who demean people in any service industry tell you everything you need to know about their character.

You're not better than a waiter simply because he is a waiter.

That isn't taking up for someone. I would have interrupted the two old bitches, reamed their asses out and cut in front of them in line.

If I were in charge of hiring I would take someone out to eat and see how they treat the server, it's a great indication on if they are a piece of shite or not.

People see service people as inferior so they treat them like crap.

I'm always overly nice to service workers. They take so much undeserved shite.

Scum. And just to add, I know we've all seen this behavior from affluent people probably moreso than other demos. Especially in restaurant services. Terrible people.

Had that happen at Little Caesar’s last month. Young girl was the only one working during rush hour so it was taking forever to get orders in and food out. One lady comes in to pick up her order which isn’t ready and she starts going off about how this happens every Wednesday at this Little Caesar’s and how this girl needs to speed things up or she’ll talk to management and blah blah blah. So at that point I cut her off and asked her why she keeps coming back to this restaurant on Wednesday’s if there’s always a problem. I pointed to all the other restaurants around us and told her there were plenty of other options that didn’t involve bitching at a high schooler.

A certain demographic in south Louisiana treats everyone working a job like complete shite. The rich people for the most part know how to act civilized, in my experience.

Sounds like something these stuck up damn Shreveport-Important people around here would do.

(Someone that has never been outside the country. Thinks going to Dallas is a big thing. Thinks they are important and act stuck up, even though they’ve done nothing or gone nowhere. And act like their shite don’t stink.)

It's different but I wouldn't say more. The rich white people are more likely to treat you like scum out of some notion of superiority and the poor black people are likely to treat you like scum due to lack of ediquette/looking for free shite. The service worker catches it from all over the place.
