Your 10 Favorite Films of 2017 thus far.

My list is based on what I actually saw. I didn't see films It, Logan Lucky, or Kingsman 2; which are films that I wanted to see but life intervened.

In order:

1. Blade Runner 2049
2. Dunkirk
3. Logan
4. Beauty and the Beast
5. Wonder Woman
6. Guardians of the Galaxy 2
7. War of the Planet of the Apes
8. Baby Driver
9. The Founder
10. Alien Covenant/Murder on the Orient Express (it's a tie, both flawed but enjoyable to me)

1. Three Billboard Outside of Ebbings, Missouri
2. Wind River
3. The Big Sick
4. Murder on the Orient Express
5. Logan Lucky

shape of water and ladybird will prob round out the top 5 for me

I haven't been to 10 movies this year.
1. Thor: Ragnarok
2. Wonder Woman
3. The Hitman's Bodyguard
4. Kingsman: The Golden Circle

Damn was John wick 2 in 2017? Sky rocket that to the top of my list

I was shocked I didn't see it on any lists.

Lady Bird and Three Billboards are way better than everything else, though. It's a pretty big fall off between those and the rest of the pack. Hopefully The Shape of Water is as good as I'm anticipating.

I don't necessarily disagree about 2016 being disappointing, but La La Land is truly a masterpiece. I don't know what you're talking about with that point.
