we will give him 10 years (which im not super into but whatever. its what you got to do), unlimited budget for assistants, unlimited budget for recruiting, and an unlimited budget for facility upgrades

The long contract and likely a ton of guarantees on his deal are what worry me.

The budgets for assistants/support staff/facilities I love because it can only benefit us in the long run. Hopefully those remain even if Jimbo turns us down

I'm not an Aggie fan, but I don't see the problem with any of this.

Gives the employee a since of security and being wanted.

Also shows asst coaches the University is for real.

Shows recruits, fans, boosters the same.

Having to pay Sumlin and his shite staff buyouts, OK fine for Aggie, but they certainly don't want it to happen again in 4 years with some shite coach again.

Man yall are fricking stupid if you sign jimbo fisher to a 10 year contract for that amount of money and that huge buyout that will come with it. Jimbo is no world beater like you think he is, he's not worth that. As far as the facility upgrades, coaching salaries, and recruiting budget is concerned, you're wrong about that. LSU pays it's coaches extremely well and our recruiting budget is basically unlimited. Our facilities are constantly being upgraded and new facilities are in the works for football too. LSU will always keep up in the arms race for facilities, lol. You're talking about a bigtime traditional power program, something texas am isnt and never has been. Youre acting like you can buy a championship program by simply throwing stupid, unnecessary and unwaranted money around and that's not the case at all...just ask oregon about that. Geaux tigers.
