Who was responsible for the train getting off the track in the first place? Also interesting how 9-3 “proves” he’s a great coach buy 9-3 was what got the previous coach fired.

Yep.

O-pumpers don’t like facts, but here are two irrefutable ones.

A. He had the type of season that got Miles fired and is getting praised for it.

B. He did (A) in a year when the SEC is as bad as it has ever been. Top-to-bottom, the SEC was weaker this year than the Big 12, Big Ten, ACC and maybe the PAC 12.

Les needed to be fired, but he had to run some SEC gauntlets.

I’m not blinded by O’s, O-pumpers’, and Alleva’s smoke and mirrors.

As far as the West goes though, is there another division in any conference that has two top 6 teams still in contention for the playoff, 5 bowl eligible teams and only one team with a losing record? Comparatively speaking, the West was very strong this year.

You’re close to the truth. In a world of immediate gratification, a college football season has its own stories and variables. We should have been 10-2. Those were my expectations. 9-3 was realistic and ended up reality. It’s my true belief that all coaches deserve at least 3 years before you can cast any judgment. Next year is huge for us. The schedule sets up for a gauntlet. It’s manageable for a playoff run if the cards fall right.
