It's possible, but UCLA arguably has the worst facilities in the Pac Ten. And the highest cost of living and historically low pay for assistants will make hiring and keeping top flight coaching staffs difficult.

Defense is more important. It just is, it proves itself to be. When you have the 125th defense (UCLA) in the country, it doesn't matter how good your offense is, you're going to suck. i.e. Kingsbury, the entire BIG-12.
