I don't care about seeding much.

As long as we make the playoffs I'm good. Would I like the Saints to be #1 seed? Sure.

I would just like to see Philadelphia lose a bit. I don't mind Minnesota because they're in a dome but if the two top seeds were in warmer climates or domes, I wouldn't care where we were seeded.

I'd just like to get one of the two byes in order to only need to win two games. I believe we could win at Minnesota or Philly.

Yea, i kind of feel the same way. If healthy it seems like we are better equipped to win on the road than in previous years.

But guys are dropping like flies so it would be in our best interest to get one of those byes.

Uh, no one is better equipped to win on the road. We will always be better off being in the Dome than we will be going somewhere else. Especially with the Dome waking up now.

I'd like our chances against anyone in the NFL in the Dome. I'd be nervous going to Philadelphia in January, and much less confident playing in Minnesota instead of at home.

I wouldn't mind having to travel to Minnesota, but Philly is pretty rough.

Getting the bye is gigantic. One less game to play and at least one of the two playoff games are guaranteed to be home. Don't play that difference off.

The difference in seeding was clear when we were able to make it to the Super Bowl in 2009 only having to play two playoff games, both at home. A better, and likely our best ever, team in 2011 walloped Detroit at home but had to travel cross country again a great defense on the road and end up losing.

Considering we are 4-0 at home in Sean Payton/Drew Brees playoff games, I would care a lot about seeding

1-4 on the road

That Green Bay loss to open season a few years back kept saints from home field and as a result probably the best saints team ever didn’t make it to where they should have.

I care a hellva lot. You play to make the playoffs and get that top seeding. You need every edge to get your team to the SB.

Green Bay was the best team in the league.

We lost to the freaking 2-14 rams. The only other team they beat were the 4-12 Browns
