Science is a process, methodology to test and learn. Building something isn't science. It is the application of formulas/physics. That is engineering.

Everything should constantly be challenged. I got no problem with people thinking the earth is flat until they see proof that convinces them. It isn't hurting anyone.
Gravity is an interesting topic as that is a bit controversial. There is much we don't know about it and how it works. The original theories were based on mass but those have been thrown out the window now. It would be nice to get that one ironed out sometime soon.
