Hunting them Bayou Sauvage deer that sneak over.
Anybody know why they don't allow hunting in Bayou Sauvage besides youth duck hunts? Seems like its the only NWR in the area that doesn't...and I know there's a ton of hogs back there because I see them along Hwy 90 almost everytime I pass through that area.

I know people that hunt Bayou Sauvage via a so called back door route that they say is not tecnicaly Bayou Sauvage. Something to do about the old exits is all I'll say. I don't quite think it's as legal as they claim. But, they do so each year.
