Great documentary but.... there's something really really wrong with Jim Carrey..

Watched it the other day. Never really knew Mich about Andy, but Jim came off as odd.

Would be more interested if this was about Jim Halpert and Andy Bernard

Yeah, I saw him on Norm's podcast and there's definitely something off.

If you are gonna hijack my thread with jokes about the Office, atleast reference the British version that was actually funny.

I like where Carrey is coming from these days, but no matter his whole guru vibe, he's still entirely self absorbed

Just watched it today.
It was very interesting, I didn't know much about Andy Kaufman before then.
You're right though, Jim Carrey does seem like he's got a screw loose.

Jim Carrey has always had lots of a loose screws. He's always been a fricking wacko. That's why he is(was) funny.
I'm watching right now. These Tony Clifton parts are making laugh out loud. Him fricking with Jerry Lawler is bringing the lulz too.

Watched it this weekend. Seems like this movie broke him.

Carrey is one strange dude. He went a little too far in character while on set.

What a fascinating story and documentary. Wow.
I am of an older generation that got Andy Kauffman. He made me laugh in ways no one else has. I love Jim Carrey as well.
The original movie was hit or miss in many ways but not Carrey's performance, it was unreal. Watching the documentary I can see why.
And yeah looks like the role broke Jim Carrey. He said when the role was over, he didn't know who HE was anymore. I can identify with that. So I understand or see where he can be coming from

I really enjoyed it but I have serious concerns about Jim. Like I feel he needs someone to love him and intervene. I honestly believe he will kill himself in the next decade. Or become Jesus like he said.

It was definitely interesting to watch but it was kind of like watching a car crash. I don't think I could have put up with dealing with him on set all that time. I felt for the director and cast mates. You could see their expressions and body language that were just cringe worthy at times.
