Here are a few that ive seen:

Liberty Bowl vs West Virginia (please no)

Outback Bowl vs Northwestern (even worse)

Outback Bowl vs Michigan State (not the worst but certainly not the best)

It seems that us playing Michigan isnt projected anymore and I think thats the matchup we all wanted. Damn.

Just win the fricking game. Doesn’t matter who the opponent is.

Those games aren’t sexy enough for Tiger fans. We need to play a program with prestige in a bowl game.

So we win this week and the matchups and bowls get worse ?? Lol
College football can be such a joke. I’m sure that they have Notre Dame going to the Fiesta Bowl even though they have lost twice and got dick smacked by Miami and almost lost to freaking Navy at home. That team being top 10 is laughable

Michigan lost again yesterday and they will likely lose next Saturday when they play Ohio St.

That would make them 8-4 for the season.

They are pretty much dropping out of the 'better bowls' discussion.

ETA: Plus they have dropped out of the Top 25 Coaches Poll today.

LSU fans won't travel to any of those matchups

Not great games but given how this year has gone I’d take one of those. All are teams we should beat to get to (hopefully) ten wins.

Getting to 10 wins this season makes any matchup worth looking forward to.

Outback Bowl

Not the worse Bowl scenario, as the Saints are @TB that weekend.

...Get there Friday, you can catch the Flyers at Lightning game.

Win out, Auburn lose to Alabama, & we should get a better bowl

I would love to end the year on beating Michigan St in a bowl. That would be the icing on the cake

The last time we were in the Outback Bowl, we only sold about 3,500 tickets. I just don't think LSU fans want to go back to Tampa or Orlando. The only matchup that might draw a decent crowd would be LSU versus Michigan, although that has lost a good deal of its appeal now that Miles is gone.

I would think that for the sake of ticket sales, the LSU administration would prefer a bowl game closer to home that fans can driver to.

A win over A&M could send LSU to the Outback Bowl against Northwestern. A loss to A&M could send LSU to the Texas Bowl against Texas.

It's weird, but a loss could send LSU to a more desirable bowl/matchup.

ETA: Of course, if you want to go out on a limb, LSU could make it to the Peach Bowl (vs. UCF?) or Cotton Bowl (vs. Penn State?) if Auburn gets beat by 40 points by Alabama and Stidham gets injured, MSU loses to Ole Miss, Georgia gets beat by Ga. Tech and then loses by 30 in the SECCG to Bama and one or both of their backs gets injured.

I don't wish injury on anybody, just pointing out the scenario.

We get rolled in all of those. I'm praying for a rematch with Troy, personally.

LSU would boatrace Northwestern.

Crummy opponent in a crummy bowl might be worth it if it means 10 wins.
