Port Hudson has a 6 mile trail and you rarely see more than one or two other people while out there.

There's a 12 mile trail that goes around Chicot Park Lake near Ville Platte. Has overnight camping spots also.

I think there's a place around St. Francisville or actually Tunica Hills.

Clark Creek trails are nice. North of St Francisville

Clark Creek Natural Area in MS or Tunica Hills WMA in LA. Both are located within about ten miles of each other. 20 miles or so north of St. Francisville. Elevation changes of up to 350'. Clark Creek has small waterfalls. Tunica has more trails and is less crowded. Deer season is open now at Tunica, so leave your antlers at home.
