Republicans had nothing to do with this. Wasn't the NY Times or Washington Post that "broke" the story. This woman is pissed about it and she is standing alone and telling the story.
Funny you say bipartisan when it is definitely not. You do realize Franklen is a democrat. Schumer is a democrat. Schumer is calling for an ethics probe into Franklen. Franklen came out in the last hour and says he supports an ethics probe into his own conduct.

What an idiot 
Not only did I not even use the word "bipartisan" a single time, I actually implied that it was the opposite. That both sides, separately, act in a partisan manner every day, in every issue. Including this one.
