I am currently sitting at 770 and I am almost done trying to figure out the frigging secret formula to get to 800.

I think I need a mortgage.

Why? 770 or 800, you’re going to get the same interest rates and perks of a great score.

Unless you like rubbing one out to creditkarma every morning

Have your parents put you as an authorized user when you're 15.

i look at peoples credit for a living. You need to be over 50 to get an 800 with a lifetime of good credit. If you don't have a mortgage and your sitting at 770 STFU!

I guess all I would have to do is not pay a bill for a few months and it would drop to 800?

I checked mine the other day, hadn't done that in a while, and it was 823. It had always been around 800, not sure why it shot up.

Could be worse. I had 775, bank incorrectly reported late payment, score went down to 700, bank corrected false late payment mark, score stayed 700, and they are telling me nothing more can be done since they corrected their mistake. It’s been a real gem to deal with.
