Before someone new starts duck hunting in an area 2 hours away with a long boat ride and no cell phone reception, would recommend starting out somewhere closer to you.
Manchac or Prairie or Big Branch.
But even better than that, find someone who will take you and knows what they are doing. Pay for guided hunts if you need to to start.

Man, I got a couple reports the Biloxi Marsh was a zoo. It must have a whole bunch more hunters from when I used to hunt back there. 8 years ago we hardly saw anyone in there.
