Big Dick Bobby got his boys fired up at the half. Cajuns were down 12 at the half, currently up 70-60 with 1:56 left.

Classic look ahead game for Texas State since ULM is awful. Our conference schedule is going to get much tougher going forward. Let's hope they can keep their foot on the gas.

Teams in action went 2-1 last night.

Louisiana Tech eked out a win over North Texas 66-65. Anthony Duruji scored a game high 25 points for the Bulldogs and Amorie Archibald contributed 21 points in the win. Louisiana Tech improves to 11-9 overall and 2-5 in CUSA.

ULL made a big second half comeback to win 77-65 over UT-Arlington. The Cajuns were led by Frank Bartley who scored 26 points. Bryce Washington also contributed 16 rebounds in the win. The Cajuns are now 16-3 this season and 6-0 in SBC play.

ULM lost a close one to Texas State falling 52-55. The Warhawks had three players in double figure scoring led by Michael Ertel who had 18 points in the loss. ULM falls to 7-10 for the year and 1-5 in conference.

How is Ladner's team doing?

11-8 on the year, but always they played a ton of non-con away money games but other than Notre Dame not a whole lot of guranteed Tourney teams which would help for seeding purposes if they can go dancing.

Sitting at 5-1 in the conference, the two games against UNO are not until later. They are lead in scoring by Jordan Capps who is kind of a do it all forward. But Marlain Veal is who gets the team going and is one of the quickest players in America. Veal is also second on the team in rebounding and he is only like 5'8.

In his third year, last year they finished with a .500 record but this year they should get over the hump and have a winning record. Its the Southland so they will have to win there conference tourney to go dancing. But if they can win the conference and atleast make the NIT I think it will be a huge success.

Been a winner everywhere he has been, and building a great program, think he gets the USM job this year IMO.
