Played about 15 minutes IIRC. Don't think he scored. Got in some foul trouble, too.
Probably makes a difference. With how he's playing now it's probably a close game at least.

The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns are 14-3 on the season and have sprinted to a 4-0 start in Sun Belt Conference play.

And, people are taking notice.

The Cajuns, winners of eleven of their last twelve games, have moved into the top five of the CollegeInsider Mid-Major Poll.

The Cajuns, ranked eighth going into the holidays, are now in the #4 spot, best among schools in either the Eastern or Central time zones.

Gonzaga (14-3) received 27 of the 31 first place votes in the poll this week, while West Coast Conference rival Saint Mary’s (15-2) got the other four. New Mexico State (13-3) is third in the poll.

Two other Sun Belt schools, UTA (16) and Georgia Southern (22) are also ranked in the poll. Stephen F. Austin of the Southland Conference is ranked eleventh.

Three Sun Belt coaches, Louisiana’s Bob Marlin, Texas State’s Danny Kaspar and Appalachian State’s Jim Fox, are voters in the poll.

SLU came back from down double digits to get the win over Lamar!!! Brings us to 4-0 in conference, and with UNO’s loss, sole possession of first place. Our next 4 games are against teams that are 2-11 in conference play, so we should be 7-0 going up against Sam who is sitting at 3-1 in conference.

Teams in action went 3-2 last night.

LSU looked really good in a 75-54 win over Arkansas. The Tigers had 4 players in double figures and were led by a 13 point, 11 rebound effort from Aaron Epps. LSU improves to 11-4 overall and 2-1 in SEC play.

Southeastern beat Lamar 63-58. Marlain Veal led the Lions with 15 points in the win. Southeastern goes to 10-7 this season and 4-0 in conference play.

UNO lost to Stephen F Austin 68-78. Travin Thibodeaux scored 24 for the Privateers but it wasn't enough. UNO falls to 7-9 overall and 4-1 in SLC play.

Nicholls took down McNeese 85-80. All 5 starters for the Cowboys were in double figures scoring led by Kalob Ledoux who had 17 points. The Colonels also had 5 players in double figures led by Roddy Peters who had 26 points in the win. Nicholls improves to 10-8 this year and 4-1 in conference while McNeese drops to 5-10 overall and 2-3 in SLC.

Only game tonight is Louisiana Tech @ MTSU (8pm - CBSSN).

If you want to talk about some winnable games, look at UNO's next six. After a very competitive loss at SFA, the Privateers look like they could go on a run soon.

UNO could be sitting at 10-1 in conference in a few weeks.

Coach Sless is tGOAT.

After getting only one team to the tournament last season (UNO), it's looking like Louisiana could have a better year this season.

UL has a good shot to win the Sun Belt.
LSU's chances keep rising. Looks like they could possibly start 4-1 in SEC play.
UNO/Southeastern/Nicholls all have a shot to win the Southland, along with SFA and Sam Houston. SFA is still the favorite, but it's pretty much 50/50 as to whether the conference tournament champ comes from Louisiana or Texas at this point.

Tulane would probably get an NIT berth with a 10-8 record in the American.
Louisiana Tech has started conference play poorly, but could maybe still have a shot at the NIT if they get it going in conference.

I have a feeling the state gets at least 2 teams in this year. No idea who they'll be, but I feel like we get multiple teams dancing this year.

I would guess LSU and UL.

LSU has the best chance by a wide margin. The SEC is so strong (RPI-wise) that every night is a chance to improve their resume.
