That's a shame. I'd like to see him be the starter.

A true duel threat means that there is a threat to complete a pass. We need a passing threat. The rest will take care of itself.

We run the same damn offense. The fancy shifts just confuse you in to believing we don't. Some things never change. This is one of them.

I’m all for a DT or pro style QB. I’ll take either as long as he can complete a forward pass more often then not. I’m tired of #7 having to stop in full stride to wait on a pass to get there.

Whether it’s MB or LN, or both, they have much stronger arms than DE. I’m ready to win the next 3 games, win the bowl game, land a QB or two in this recruiting class and use a 10 win season to build momentum for 2018. We are one decent QB away from being a tough punch out and I don’t care what style of QB he is long as he can complete passes and keep the chains moving in the right direction.

To the OP I do agree it would be a nice luxury if we had a QB like Jalen that can pick up first downs with his feet when all things break down. Jalen Hurts earns a living on other teams by running when he doesn’t have anyone open. Again though I just want a QB that can complete passes game after game.

I'd take a competent QB that can consistently complete passes to open WRs.....just saying.

I'd take some receivers who can consistently catch the ball

How about we get a QB that's a single-threat before we go wishing for a dual-threat?

Anthony Jennings was indeed a dual threat. Stop.

Named to the PrepStar Top 150 Dream Team as the No. 10 quarterback in the nation … Racked up 2,187 yards and 19 touchdowns through the air and 500 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground his junior campaign … Averaged over five yards a carry on the ground and passed for over 800 yards his senior season …

Scott wasn't good enough in Baton Rouge to get mop up duty and Narcisse has a bum leg right now. So, yes the answer is I've had a problem with Scott's play.

He was a duel-threat in high school. He didn't threaten crap in the SEC.

he was recruited as a "dual threat quarterback". Many others didn't pan out at the collegiate level also. But his skill set was definitely not a pro style qb.

If we had the slowest QB in America that was a solid passer we would have won as well.

If Etling simply had Hurts speed, we probably still don't win.

So less than 19% of total yards on the ground.

When are you going to have a recruiting website?

How many QBs do you want to play in a season?
