Moral victory!

I'm not a moral victory cheeerleader. However, one take away is after (at least) two years of LSU simply continuing to ram their heads into a brick wall against those guys, we saw an offense that created the opportunity for plays and did have some success moving the ball. LSU had more yards in the first half than they did in the entire game last season. If LSU's QB last night could have hit on EVEN JUST A FEW of the opportunities he had when WR's broke free, we could be talking about a different outcome.

Again, the bottom line is that LSU lost. And they lost by 2 TD's in a game that was never really in doubt. However, it was still nice to see offensive approach that allowed LSU some opportunities vs. years of stubbornly taking an approach that didn't work.

Does it mean LSU is better than Bama? Absolutely not. But at least is was a step in some kind of direction.

Actually, it’s the opposite, Pimp. Any realistic assessment of performance and doubts is met with ridicule from the Pollyanna portion of the fan base. Don’t ally yourself with the ignorant, low I.Q. portion of the fan bas, pimp.

Ok. I’m off the ledge . All I want is honesty - which includes good and bad . Sorry to make it personal.
