A favorite quote of the board..."Elections have consequences."
Or as Kevin Spacey would say it, "erections have consequences".

Thats awesome. Thanks for posting.
Here in Tuscaloosa back in the 70's was a company called Gulf States Paper Corporation (now Westervelt). They made newspaper paper and all other sorts of paper products, and they are probably the largest landowner in Alabama.
They had a paper mill here in Tuscaloosa and the workers started discussing unionizing. Mr Jack Warner (the owner of GSPC) said if they did he would close the mill. They voted to unionize and the next day Mr. Warner closed the gates and had all the utilities shut off. It stayed closed for about a year with the former employees on a picket line.

"It was literally like the daily flow of the newsroom came to a screeching halt," said Scott Heins, a photojournalist at Gothamist. "It was just an absolutely normal day at the office and then someone said 'oh my god the email' and then everyone checked their work email. Some of my colleagues burst into tears really quickly, others shouted. It was immediate shock when we got the email."
How can people be this insular and still think of themselves as journalists?

Liberals seem to genuinely not get that no job is REQUIRED to exist.
They seem to somehow think the job came first, THEN the employer.

So he didn't even care to see if business remained profitable.
Sad.
Sad.

I had my own business for over 30 years boy. I dealt with unions in 2 of my locations. I didn't have any troubles with any of my people. Those 2 cities we consistently in the top 5 in terms of profits and customer service ratings. I kept an open mind when they joined the union and it worked.
Closing a profitable business just because you don't like unions makes no sense. At all.
