Central Waters Peruvian Morning being released in Wisconsin starting next week and the states where they distribute the week or so after that. I've never had it before, but looks like they've had some issues with infection. If it wasn't for that this beer would rank out at world class.

Stood in line over an hour but worth the annual release.

Honestly it’s too long a description to type.

For the record, I bought the limit.

KBS released at 9 a.m. at my local Binny's. Very easy to get a couple 4 packs. The GF gonna check out the Whole Foods release at noon and see if they're releasing any rare/old versions.

Also grabbed a couple Central Waters Rum Barrel Aged Coconut Porter 4 packs. Will be interested to see how those are. The feedback seems to be mixed, but I'm a CW fanboy so...

Heading to Decorah this weekend for Assassin at Toppling. Can't wait. Going to be a number of fun offerings on-tap.

Nice. I'm not familiar with Decorah, Iowa, but some world class beer might make it a pretty fun place.

There are a couple random hiking areas around Decorah, but not much to do outside of Toppling. Went to their old taproom a couple times. The building looked like it was once a Pizza Hut. Pictures of their new brewery look awesome.

Not really appropriate for this thread, but might be of interest to you guys:

Grace and Grit is back in Arkansas again. It's been probably 3 releases (maybe 6 months?) since I saw it here last.

Well, i just thought it might be of interest because I know there's a lot of discussion about where various releases of G&G (and other LA beers) will go. Great, heartwarming, beer story from today:

I first had G&G like 6 months ago when a release made its way all the way up to Northwest Arkansas. I've been anxiously awaiting another release making its way up here, to the point of following Great Raft's instagram and bugging them about distribution for releases everytime they post about a new G&G. Now, I know the beer isn't like the end all be all unicorn beer, but I just like the packaging and enjoyed stumbling upon it the one time I had it. As such, it's kind of been an obsession to get some more G&G over the last few months. I had pretty much given up on it actually getting distributed up here again, as everything on their social media and on the board I read seemed to indicate limited distribution.

Fast forward to today:
I left work early today to drive a couple of hours to spend the night with my mom who has dementia pretty bad and give my brothers (who live here and generally take care of her) a break. I've been dreading it because she's really taken a turn for the worse over the last few months to the point of hallucinations and not knowing what's going on as well as being combative and hard to deal with in general.

So I was feeling pretty shitty about leaving my wife and kids on Easter weekend (I don't want the kids to deal with her combativeness and such, so I left them at home) and just feeling pretty gloomy. My mom lives in a dry county, so I stopped at the county line at a backwoods beer store in rural Arkansas that has surprisingly good selection. What do I find? A heaping supply of G&G! Buy a couple of 4 packs, the sun comes out, the birds sing, and all is right with the world while mom and I sit on the back porch sipping some hop juice (okay, she prefers Corona Light with a Lime, but she has dementia, so I can't blame her).
