I went to Tuscaloosa two years ago...one trip was enough, headed to NYC to watch for my birthday...

Meauxjeaux and I will be there in our old spot...for those who started going there after 2011, we had our spot at one of the main floor bar tables...

anyone else planning to be there?

That's a fun place for an LSU game, Butch. I can't imagine what it'll be like for Bama. I'd get there early for a seat at the bar if it's just the two of y'all.

Trying to decide if I want to brave it this year or not. I know it will be uncomfortably packed but the experience is as close as it gets to feeling like home in NYC.

I am up here for a conference and went by for the games this weekend. Met the owner Liam and he bought us a round. Really great place and he loves. LSU

I was there for the MSU game and could only find a spot at the bar upstairs. Downstairs was incredibly packed, and this was for MSU. Imagine the Bama game

Watched the LSU vs. Bama game in 2008 at Legends.
We blocked Bama's 29 yard "go-ahead" field goal attempt in the 4th to force overtime.
We ended up losing and that sucked, but it was probably the most fun I've ever had in a loss.

When I lived in Maryland, I was a regular there...4 hours each way...for night games, I could catch WWL when I got past Newark Airport and could listen to the post game show all the way home...

I was at the 2011 game...that crowd was epic...got there at 1300 thinking I could put my pack down and do a couple of other things...NOT...had to virtually fight to hold the table...

Haven't been to one this year, so it's tempting. Should be an electric atmosphere.

If you get there around 3:30-4 you should be alright for a seat at the bar. And things don't get quite as packed on the lower level if you want a more low key spot with more elbow room.

Not me. I will be making yet another road trip to Tuscaloosa... my 4th since 2009.

Legends has been pretty good this year though. They had us on live camera for the Miss. State game, before it quickly went south... but that night with the Ole Miss and Astros-Yankees games on was the best Legends has been in years in my opinion.

Our group normally sat at one of the tables on the main bar level...I don't like sitting in the lower level...we had a member who would buy a dozen shots of Jack at a time and pass them out!!!

Heard that it had Tiger Stadium atmosphere for the Ole Miss game.

Legends is the best place outside Tiger Stadium to watch an LSU game.

For any game you need to get there early, for this game I'd guess at least 2-3 hours to get a good spot.

Like others have said, downstairs isn't as much fun. It's a basement and there are TVs but the main bar or the upstairs level is the spot to be.

I'm going to Tuscaloosa for the game. Probably my last trip to that hell hole as I went in 2015 also.

This is my first season in NYC so I haven't been to Legends yet. Sounds like the tits.

Main bar is unreal when the Tigers win a big game. Girls dancing on the bar, shots being poured, etc.

Probably the best night I've had there is when we beat Ole Miss in 2014, entire bar chanting "frick Ole Miss" for about 20 minutes

What time would suggest getting there for this game?
