All it takes to hit a HR is a 315 foot ball to left.

That would be off the wall

I thought the cybermetric thinking swung in favor of more home runs at the cost of more strike out.

As kindly as possible, the word is sabermetrics.

In the stat cast era, no ball with that velocity and launch angle had ever been a HR. Or even a base hit

I mean only 2 balls have been hit with that exit velocity and angle. One was Correa's HR. So you can say that it's a HR 50% of the time.

I mean, this is a hitters park. All it takes to hit a HR is a 315 foot ball to left.

There was literally a pop-up home run to left. This after the Astros fans complained in the ALDS about a Yankees home run to right in Yankee Stadium.

I wonder if scott van pelt knows that the current MLB baseball and bat combo has more "ping" than the current NCAA baseball and bat combo.

I thought the strangest thing about the playoff baseballs was the Dodgers saying that Darvish says he can't throw his slider effectively because the balls are too slick,

Not sure if that is hype or not, but even if it's only a little bit true, huge advantage to the hitter.
