It's sad that you actually believe this bullshite. The GOPe want perpetual war, an interventionist foreign policy, growing deficits, an expansive and secretive surveillance apparatus and kowtowing to SJW's on issues regarding identity politics and political correctness. People like Kasich have ZERO interest in limiting government, promoting government transparency and increasing individual freedom. They are easily controlled opposition.

Yeah, what he said isn't wrong. Republicans should be for legal immigration.

My political beliefs are consistent with a government that leaves people the hell alone. Your boy Kasich is a political chameleon. He says what he thinks people want to hear. He supported the Iraq invasion in 2002 and then said he wouldn't have committed troops there in 2015. He opposed medical marijuana but now is open to supporting it. He has been in the back pocket of the for-profit prison industry, but has also stated that he is for criminal justice reform. He has been all over the place on surveillance and encryption issues. To quote Avon Barksdale, John Kasich is a man without a country.

Sure, but they aren't libertarian.

How is that? I don't much care about the immigration issue to be honest. I entered this conversation because a poster somehow thinks John Kasich is trying to save the GOP, when in fact his policies have very little to do with small government.

No one has ever explained to me why we need immigration of any kind. We have 330 million people here already.
