You know I was listening to sports talk early in the week and that Florida job might be the toughest in the country to have. Spurrier basically left because he was tired of the fan base being so upset when they weren't hanging 50 a game on people. Myer won 2 NC's and they still damn near killed him. The others have been a joke!
Coaches will look very hard before taking that gig!!

well, jim Mac is winning hardware of some sorts and he has done it two years in a row. I always praised UF for setting the standard for when to fire a winning head coach. see ron zook. 3 straight 4 or 5 loss seasons did it for him with no hardware. some won't even wait that long now if you have gone without hardware for quite some time and I do not blame them. it is all about winning some form of substantive hardware be it division, conference or natty.
