Fisher's team quit on him, Orgeron's team hasn't

Another loss for Jimbo Fisher. ESPN reports, that not since 1976 has Fla St. lost this many games this early, Fisher seems incapable of motivating his team, his players appear to have quit.

Fisher isn't on the hot seat but ESPN noted another season like this could certainly change things.

LSU may have dodged a bullet, Fisher may be a one hit wonder. Orgeron still has a lot to prove, but he's already proven that his teams won't quit competing.

No surprise that ESPN is wrong.

FSU is 2-5.

FSU lost 6 games multiple times under Bowden.

I won't say Jimbo isn't bad this season the performances are disgraceful but he isn't a 'one hit wonder' when he has many years of 10 win seasons with a national title a few seasons after becoming the coach of a stale program

Come on

Jimbo shite the bed this season and it didn't help his star QB is hurt.

I think FSU will end up fine eventually, but this year will be ugly if they don't show any more fight

he could end up heading the Les Miles route

although this really is his first true bad season IMO

Jimbo deserves the benefit of the doubt as of now

Why are you trying to give O credit for the things that Devin White has done?

multiple conference titles and a natty as an OC
multiple conference titles and a natty as a HC

how does that equal only one hit?

Orgeron’s team quit halfway through its first away game against an SEC opponent this year, something I have not seen LSU do since the mid-90s, and they phoned it in for a few games after. I don’t deny that the Tigers have turned it around greatly these last three weeks but GTF out of here with that ‘we didn’t quit’ noise. It’s like you didn’t start watching football this season until a few weeks ago.

Some LSU fans are talking out both sides of their mouths, Miles should get no credit as a coach for his many ten win seasons at LSU, but definitely need to credit Fisher for his.

Fans like this suck, they really do need to STFU.

Jimbo is a good coach but he is not worth 7+ million a year. That has become increasingly apparent over the last 3 years. So for that reason I'm glad that didn't work out.
