You already have the caliber you are looking for, but if you want another rifle (I'm sure the answer is yes) 300 win mag is my choice. Although I just bought a 26 nosler but not sure I'd take it on an elk hunt just yet.

You're right I do want another rifle. I love my 270 but I noticed it doesn't have the knockdown power that I'm looking for on longer shots.
