This is a question for yall that have seen this kid play. I haven't seen this kid play and know nothing about him. I'm familiar with Smart and some with Reid. How good is he and who does his game remind you of? It would be awesome for a breakdown of each player but I don't want to ask too much.

And if there is a thread about this point me that way please. I'm excited about what is going on with basketball but havent been able to follow the recruiting as close as I want to. Can't even check videos or highlights. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Eta: was able to check out his highlights. Still would like an experts opinion on the kids in our class to get an idea just how good they are or can be.

I'd like to know as well.

I'll be honest, Johnny Jones killed my interest in completely following LSU basketball. I still watched all the games, until they got too ugly, but I quit paying attention to all things LSU basketball, like I used to.

I grew up when LSU basketball dominated BR. Plus, I loved basketball very much growing up. So much so, that I earned myself a scholarship to college in basketball, albeit not the best/biggest of universities. That said, just to continue my point that I love basketball and love when LSU is good at basketball, as well as all sports. However, between TJ and JJ, it's been hard to want to follow all the ins and outs of basketball bc of how they killed our program. As I said, I still watched, but just wasn't in to recruiting the last year or 2 because of JJ.

Now that Wade is here, he is definitely bringing that passion back. I am interested to know about all our recruits again and I'm excited about what he has the potential to do here.

Somehow, I kept my season tickets and I can't even come up with a good reason why. However, now that Wade is here, I'm damn glad I did. Even though he hasn't coached a game here yet, his energy rubs off on everything and everyone and I believe that's the reason why he's done so well in recruiting, not that it's some big secret or anything.

Anyways, just as the person I quoted, I too would like to know more about DD. I also can't wait to follow Wade here as LSU's coach and get back in to following bball recruiting again, like I do football.

Thanks to all those who bring info to this board, keep up the great work.

TLDR: Wade kicks arse, excited about what he has the potential to do here and can't wait to follow bball recruiting again.
