from my understanding from this thread, he really doesn't have an offer from Alabama at this point. It seems he was just told that if one of the other QB's that are committed to Bama in this class change their minds, at that time then he will be extended an offer.

Really it doesn't amount to anything other than that he is on Bamas radar. Looks like the QB from Warren Easton, Legendre, was given this same condition a couple months a go as well.

It seems a lot of recruits just want that on their resumes that they were extended an offer from Bama. But they really weren't offered anything other than being basically told that if things work out with the numbers, they at that time they will be offered a schollie, but right now there are players they like more that are already committed or who they are trying to get commitments from. It doesn't mean anything.
