Planning a trip to the Masters in April. I'm from Louisiana and got a group of about 8 guys that want to hit the road and head to Augusta. If anyone has or knows someone who is selling Tuesday practice round tickets I would be interested. Also, if anyone from the area knows of any good places to stop and play a few rounds of golf along the way, or in Augusta along with the must see's and stuff to do while there. thanks in advance

Flying or driving?

How long are y'all planning on staying? Price limits?

If y’all are going to a Tuesday round, stay in Augusta Monday and that’s it. Hotels are stupid expensive. Just make the drive to Atlanta afterwards.

Yep, I think I remember seeing weekend passes going for around $5000.

IIRC, practice round tix are about 325-350 on the secondary market. Champions retreat, in Augusta, is remarkable!

I’ve been putting in for tickets and never have been lucky. Hopefully one year they’ll pull my name. They are crazy expensive to buy secondary.

If you're staying in Atlanta, check out Echelon Golf Club. Played it last year on our Masters trip. Great course and huge elevation changes, especially on the back nine.

Played Reynolds in 2015. They have a couple options. One of the courses is only open to the public the week of the Masters. It was a lot of fun.

I've stayed in Lithonia before. It gets you on the East side of Atlanta, because there isn't a ton between Atlanta and Augusta.

If you don't mind adding time to the trip, once you leave Augusta, you are just across the river from South Carolina. Lots of courses that way.
