McCain is an elected Senator who represents an entire state. If Trump wants to threaten him and try to intimidate him, that just shows how inept Trump is in making deals, negotiating and getting things done.
One of the problems with Trump is that he is incapable of actually working with other powerful people. He wants to lord over everyone. My theory is that goes back to the fact that he has always been the head of privately held organizations and has never had to share power with a board of directors or shareholder committees. That kind of experience tends to lead to dictatorial "leadership."
If Trump had any skill as an organizer or negotiator he would be trying to organize members of Congress, not dictate to them.
